Design &
Compatibility
Approach

At HexCore Mounts, we design firearm mounting solutions with a focus on secure retention, thoughtful engineering, and responsible compatibility.

Our products are independently developed to support common firearm platforms while respecting manufacturer intellectual property.

01
Secure Retention
Every mount is engineered to deliver clean, dependable hold without clamps, straps, or gimmicks.
02
Thoughtful Engineering
Designed in-house using Autodesk Fusion 360, prototyped and tested in our Georgia workshop.
03
Responsible Compatibility
Original geometry engineered to support common platforms while respecting third-party intellectual property.

HexCore Mounts products are not modeled after any single magazine manufacturer's proprietary designs. Instead, our mounts are engineered using a function-based approach that focuses on how a firearm interfaces with a magazine for retention — without replicating magazine designs themselves.

01
Function-Based Design

We focus on the mechanical interface between firearm and magazine — specifically the retention geometry — not on recreating any proprietary magazine profile.

02
Original Geometry

All mount geometry is created in-house. We do not copy, reverse-engineer, or license third-party magazine profiles to create our designs.

03
In-House Development

From concept to prototype, every HexCore mount is designed, built, and tested by our team at our Georgia workshop using Autodesk Fusion 360.

To ensure consistent fitment across common firearm platforms, our designs are based on:

  • Physical measurement of multiple commercially available magazines across common platforms
  • Analysis of common engagement surfaces such as the magazine catch interface and retention points
  • Tolerance-based design to account for material and manufacturing variation across magazine brands

This approach allows us to create original geometry while maintaining broad compatibility across common firearm platforms.

All HexCore Mounts products undergo real-world fitment testing under controlled, stationary conditions. This process helps ensure reliable retention and consistent performance when used as intended.

Real-World Fitment Testing

Each mount is tested with actual firearms and magazines in our Georgia workshop to verify consistent retention and fitment before release.

Controlled Static Conditions

HexCore Mounts products are designed and validated for stationary, indoor, static-load applications only. Performance outside these conditions is not tested or warranted.

Small-Batch Quality Control

We produce in small batches with hands-on quality checks at every stage. Volume is secondary to precision.

HexCore Mounts LLC does not manufacture, replicate, or sell firearm magazines. Any brand names referenced for compatibility purposes are used solely to describe fitment and do not imply affiliation, endorsement, or licensing.

We believe in full transparency. When we reference a firearm platform, caliber, or magazine type for compatibility purposes, we are describing a physical interface — not claiming any relationship with the manufacturer of that platform or product.

Compatibility & Trademark Notice

References to third-party products, manufacturers, brand names, trademarks, calibers, platforms, or standards are used solely for the purpose of identifying compatibility. HexCore Mounts LLC products are independently designed and manufactured and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with any third-party manufacturer or brand.
