Carry Permit
Guide Now Live

Knowing how to carry legally starts with knowing the process.

We built the HexCore CCW Permit Guide — a clean, interactive state-by-state resource that helps users understand concealed carry permit requirements across all 50 states.

Whether you're applying for the first time or verifying a state process, the guide gives you a faster way to find the information that matters.

Because the Process Shouldn’t Be Harder Than the Permit

Concealed carry permit information exists — but that doesn’t mean it’s easy to use.

The problem is simple: every state handles permits differently, and the information is often buried in PDFs, outdated websites, or scattered state pages. If you're trying to figure out who issues permits, whether training is required, how long approval takes, or where to apply, you shouldn’t have to bounce between ten tabs just to get started.

So we built one place to start.

Select. Review. Verify.

The HexCore CCW Permit Guide is an interactive tool that lets users view concealed carry permit information one state at a time — without the clutter.

  • All 50 States — concealed carry permit information organized in one place
  • Single-State Display — only the selected state appears on screen at one time
  • Quick Navigation — choose from a dropdown or click a state from the jump list
  • Core Permit Details — issuing authority, application method, training requirements, and permit term
  • Official Source Links — direct links to the state or local authority for final verification
  • Built-In FAQ + Disclaimer — extra clarity without unnecessary noise

Instead of forcing users to scroll through every state at once, the guide hides everything except the state they actually need.

Select Your State
Use the dropdown at the top of the page or click a state from the jump list to load its concealed carry permit card.
View One Clear Card
The page hides all other states and displays only the permit information for the state you selected.

The goal wasn’t to create another giant directory. The goal was to make state-by-state permit information easier to navigate, easier to understand, and easier to verify.

Issuing Authority
Quick visibility into who handles permits in that state — whether it’s a state agency, local sheriff, probate court, or another issuing office.
Application Method
A clear starting point on whether the process is handled online, in person, locally, or through a state portal.
Training + Requirements
A summary of what to verify before applying, including training, documentation, and permit-specific considerations.
Official Source Links
Direct links to the agency or issuing authority so users can verify the current process with the proper source.
Informational Resource Only HexCore Mounts provides the CCW Permit Guide as a public informational resource. We are not a legal authority and do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or current status of any state permit information shown. Laws, fees, timelines, and requirements can change. Always verify all permit information directly with the official issuing authority before applying for, renewing, or relying on a concealed carry permit.

This guide is a starting point — not a substitute for the official source. We encourage every user to do their own due diligence before moving forward with any application.

Responsibility Starts Before You Carry

Owning a firearm responsibly means more than having the right gear. It also means understanding the laws and processes that apply to you.

Quality information reduces confusion, prevents mistakes, and gives people a clearer path forward when they’re trying to do things the right way. Whether someone is applying for their first permit or just verifying a state process, access to clean information matters.

The CCW Permit Guide is one more way HexCore supports the community beyond the products we build.

Better information. Better decisions.
